Abstract
Evidence-based practice involves integrating clinical expertise with patient values and combining them with the best research evidence. The main reason is to enhance the decision-making process concerning the patient. The nurses spend a considerable amount of time with the patients hence the need to understand the working environment based on available evidence. The nurses can develop changes meant to ensure that optimal results are achieved. The nurses require peak or optimal working conditions and environment to realize greater efficiencies and results in patients’ care. The field of nursing is often faced with the challenge of a stressful working environment brought about by the various negative dynamics that arise. However, the nurses often have to work for longer periods rendering them stressed and less effective in the dispensation of the duties. The paper herein is research on a clinical nursing issue through a PICO (T) question aiming at realizing optimum and high-quality discharge of professional services by the nurses.
Introduction
