This article is very informative about Julius Ceasar’s character. According to the article, despite being celebrated in different things, Caesar did not judge situations wisely all the time. For example, Caesar’s wife and the priests had advised him not to go to the Senate on the day of his death, but due to an error in judgment, he did not pay attention. Lack of proper judgment was Caesar’s most significant flaw that eventually led to his death.

The interesting thing about this article is that it covers the last moments of Julius Caesar differently from other writings. Other pieces state that Caesar’s last words were “Et tu, Brute?” which translates to “Even you, Brutus?” However, this article states that Caesar’s last words were:”You, too, my child?” It makes me feel sorry for Julius Caesar because he loved Brutus and even considered Brutus as his child. To learn that a person he regards so highly could betray him as much makes me empathize with Julius Caesar.
