To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing in the recommendation of Christina XXXXX for admission into the Florida International University’s MSN-Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program. I have known Christina both personally and professionally for over five years now. I had the pleasure to work with Christina from August 2011 to August 2013 as the Director of Emergency Services at American Red Cross and more recently on a voluntary basis through her work with veterans.
She has served the Armed Forces in the position of Planner for the American Red Cross of South Florida. In that capacity, she exemplified outstanding skills that were required to work within our community. Her tenacious spirit and strong leadership qualities are validated in the thousands of veterans’ lives she has touched through her service locally. For instance, I have witnessed her high levels of tolerance when handling patients and other people in general. Christina’s immense drive and ambition to serve humanity, coupled with a strong business acumen inspired me to appoint her to the post of Deputy Director to the Florida Veterans Foundation. Which is a direct organization of the Department of Veterans Affairs which she held during 2012, a position she still serves to date.
