Letter of Associate Professor
Letter of Associate Professor
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing this letter to give my highest possible recommendation for Mr. Le.
I came to know Mr. Le since he was the most outstanding student in the class of 2014 which had a total of 47 students. He was my student in Cultural Globalization class of 2013 and Cross Culture class, 2014. It is during these lessons that I came to learn more about Mr. Lee. Due to his hard work and exceptional contribution in class, I took the responsibility of being an advisor for his thesis whose title ‘Internet Culture and its impacts on Vietnamese community’ was new.
As a student, Mr. Le was a group leader, a charismatic figure who was always ready and willing to take a leading role and show others the way. He led his fellow students in research and as a result, his group was able to boost the best results that year among all the classes I taught. Besides, Mr. Le was always keen in class. His critical thinking and analyzing skills also benefited his classmates. I recall his inquisitive nature and often came up with stimulative and relevant questions making the class more interactive and interesting. Also, Mr. Le performed exemplary well in his academics. The student always topped in the class of ‘Cross Culture’ with a score of 8/10 as well as the class of ‘Cultural Globalization’ with a score of 9.5/10, the highest ever score to be recorded in such a class. His performance was also applauded through the thesis in the class of 2014. Among the best six, Mr. Le’s thesis ranked with a score of 9.2/10.He also ranked 2nd in the Department of International communication and culture among the 47 candidates the same year.
His thesis topic, ‘Internet culture’ is a new phenomenon especially in Vietnam and it was a hard task for a student to research on this matter. But due to his creativity and ability to deal with complex issues, Mr. Le decided to choose this topic as his area of study. Indeed, Mr. Le is a courageous and hardworking student. Despite facing difficulties during the five months of his work, he remained resilient and was able to complete the assignments. A diligent and punctual student who always managed his time well and observed deadlines. Mr. Le was able to study the thesis at hand and submit the draft on time. At the same time, he was able to read and research materials in English and Vietnamese to accomplish his work.
Mr. Le exhibited desirable leadership and personal skills. He was always active in class and managed his time well. His participation in extra curricular activities was also exceptional. He took part in voluntary activities on matters touching Public relations as well as organizing events and contests. He was the leader of the DAV Young Blood Donors Club and a member of the Executive Committee of DAV Students Association.
In summary, Mr. Le is an outstanding student whose performance in all fields remained consistent throughout the period I have known him.I would highly recommend him and am ready to be contacted for any further clarification if need be.
