Random Act of Kindness
No one, not even a high school principal will punish for being kind. A random act of kindness not only brightens someone’s day but also puts a wide smile on your face. There are various ways of being kind. Here some of the random acts of kindness that we can consider practicing especially in this festive season.
What we say to people can either boost their esteem or break them down to a point of no return. You can choose to be polite and sensitive to your language to our family members, friends, strangers, and event our pets. By the way our pets are also sensitive to kindness; (‘Kindness Or Fairness?’ n.p). Remember not to yell at your dog this Christmas. Remember to call your grandparents and tell the how much you appreciate them. Tell your spouse how much you love them. Use this season to thank those who stood by you when things were tough. Don’t forget to write a note to you mailman and that security who decided not to sleep at your expense.
Kindness currency involves those actions intended to make other people feel good without necessarily expecting to be paid back the favors (O’Sullivan n.p). Think of simple things that will add value to your neighbor. For instance, bring your neighbors trash can back to the house after the trash runs, visit a children’s home and celeb this festive season together.
