Talents and their development
My greatest talent is my ability to manage time. At first, it was not clear and obvious that my time management skills were perfect. I have acquired it over time. I have built this talent, and I have seen it developed over the years. I even can rate myself 10/10 for my time management ability. It was not very clear in my middle school as I was the type of guy who would not manage my time properly and always depended on my parents. I couldn’t manage my academic work and playing video games since I was addicted to computer games. I usually took a lot of time to play video games after school.
According to the elementary school journal (271-277), parents are a vital part in the development of their children. It was until I was in grade seven that my parents started limiting my time to play computer games only during weekends and spend more time on my academic work. I was outrage immediately, but I couldn’t do anything as they are my parents. As time went on, I was unable to spend my time on computer games in weekdays thanks to my parents. While in Bellevue College, my parents and I were far apart. This is when I become more independent. Through this period, my time management skills became better. I had some activities had I had to engage every single day. I was to do my homework for at least an hour, playing sports as well as computer games.
