EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In a market where amenities offered can be a source of success, opportunities exist that can be used as a solution to existing problems. The problems that can be solved are; a waste of outdoor space and lack of dog owners cleaning up after their pets. At Kimberly Woods, there exist a patio area which was used for grilling and picnicking before but due to restrictions recently by Arapahoe County on grill usage, the common area has fallen into disuse. That, therefore, means that a dog park could be built which solves a dog problem while creating revenue.
The dog problem has been aggravated by burgeoning in the number of the dog owners. There is neglect by owners to pick up the litter which makes the ground smelly and exposes the residence to health dangers such as E.Coli, giardia, and Salmonella. By building a dog park, therefore, Kimberly Woods will be able to solve this problem.
This project will take six weeks. The staff will be trained on Pet Relief Service procedures while the project is ongoing.
There are long term benefits that will come as a result. While a large a percentage of the $1431.00 budget, goes into reconstruction, the Pet Relief Service will be able to repay it with its first month. The renters will pay an extra fee to have a trained staff member to take a dog to the park….
