In my first year in high school, I experienced the challenge of test anxiety. Before joining the high school, I was always nervous about the exams. In high school, the teachers praised me because I was a bright student and could perform well in my assignments. The challenge was frustrating because I always felt that I was a bright student who could attain high grades. However, during the exams, I always panicked and forgot what I had previously learned. Thus, came up with solutions to the text anxiety since education would play a critical role in my future. I was able to overcome the challenge of test anxiety.
In an attempt to find the solution to my problem, I decided to explore the causes for test anxiety. I learned that it is not based on an individual’s academic ability. Instead, it is psychological and can be solved. I read many books and tutorials to discover the various remedies for test anxiety. I learned that the basis for passing exams is practice, preparation, and organization. Preparation involves diverse techniques such as breathing exercises, proper nutrition, and relaxation. Additionally, organization practices include the application of note cards and organizing my question and answer sheets during an exam. I also did numerous unit tests to get accustomed to the tests.
