RE: APPLICATION FOR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
I at this moment apply as a Summer Public Health intern at WHO by the requirement outlined under the procedures of WHO internship programs (1). I am presently a fourth-year student undertaking a bachelor’s degree course in public health at the University of California. As part of my coursework, I have covered some core public health units and financial management accounting. My goal after graduation is to acquire a fellowship in center healthcare administration.

I trust the internship program at the World Health Organization will be useful in helping me acquire a deeper understanding of the complex dynamics that not only steer financing, but also the delivery of healthcare within a large medical care center.

Before joining the University of California, I worked as a program director for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). This particular position offered me an opportunity to interact with patients, doctors and other related health professionals in developing healthcare programs that raised awareness about allergy and infectious diseases, with the objective of earlier diagnosis, better management, and improved patient prognosis.
